CA Parents Association helps us remain informed, and connected to our children and other parents in our situation, as we experience the transition of our children going to the United States Merchant Marine Academy!

Whether you are a Kings Point Appointee or a "busting at the seams" Proud Kings Point Parent, we heartily salute you all, for without the backing, support, and example of the family, the new Midshipmen could not have arrived at this milestone in his or her life. As always, all new voyages begin with a small step -- enjoy your journey!

The Mission of USMMA Southern California Parents Association is to promote and support the Academy, its goals, programs and objectives, its Regiment of Midshipmen, faculty, staff and alumni.

We serve as a support organization for Plebe Candidates, their families, and all Midshipmen and their families during their years at the Academy. Our primary focus is to keep our California Midshipmen supported and encouraged while they are so far from home, and to help network between both them at the Academy and us parents here. We ask that you do what you can to participate and support our Club, and enjoy the friendships that can be lifelong.
